Applied Economics and Antitrust Consultant
Felipe is an economist with experience in applied research and consulting, with a strong background in economic theory and quantitative methods. In consulting, he has worked on damages estimation, competitive market analysis, and quantitative support in litigation and arbitration, across sectors such as energy, construction, transportation and ride-sourcing, as well as primary industries including forestry, salmon farming, and retail. In research, his interests focus on urban economics, housing markets, and environmental economics, with publications in journals such as the Journal of the European Economic Association and Resource and Energy Economics.
Education
Felipe holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, with a major in Economics, and a Master’s in Economics with highest distinction from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of British Columbia (UBC).
