Assistant professor at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, Universidad de Los Andes.

She specializes in empirical analysis and in the use of methodological and statistical tools, so as to answer questions concerning cause-and-effect. With these tools she has carried out studies in the areas of industrial organization, particularly in the annuities and pension products markets, and in economy of education, in which she is working on evaluating programs to improve teachers´ efforts and students’ learning, both in schools and third level education. Previously, she has worked on solving problems related to labor decisions, social mobility and economic inequality.
